Our motto at Job Training Institute (JTI) is “lifting you to the next level”. We have built our reputation on career-focused qualifications and aim to provide students with job-ready training and the best career outcomes.
JTI specializes in Health and Community Services training. Instead of offering a wide range of different courses, we have remained focused on our area of specialization and have built considerable expertise in Community and Health training delivery.

Location and Cultural Awareness

JTI’s Melbourne campuses are located in multicultural centres and attract students from a diverse range of ethnic groups. International students at our Dandenong (Melbourne) campus will soon find a little bit of ‘home’ both on campus and in the surrounding area. To cater to the cultural diversity of our student population, our trainers too have a multicultural profile. Their awareness and sensitivity regarding cultural differences is another reason why our students quickly feel comfortable in their classroom environment.

Our Adelaide campus is located in the heart of the central business district with direct access to all the services and amenities available in a capital city. Central Adelaide is also an education precinct and JTI students will meet other international students from all over the world.

Global Career Opportunities and International Recognition

We offer a Diploma of Nursing for international students with the option to package their Diploma with a precursor Certificate III in Individual Support. There is a worldwide shortage of qualified nurses so graduates of the Diploma of Nursing enjoy excellent career prospects both in their home country and internationally.

The course content covered in the Diploma of Nursing improves career prospects for graduates seeking employment in hospitals and broadens their overall Health and Community Care skills set.
JTI’s Diploma of Nursing is accredited by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC). Following graduation, students are eligible for professional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.*

*Subject to satisfying academic entry and English language proficiency requirements.

Work Placement

Unlike some institutions that require students to make their own work placement arrangements, JTI has a full-time Work Placement Co-ordinator to acquire work placement for all our students.

JTI has been training Health and Community Care professionals for many years. Over time we have built up a solid network of contacts with community and health care providers throughout Melbourne and Adelaide who welcome our students into their work placement because of the quality of training they receive in class.

Student Support

Our trainers are always available and willing to assist students with their studies and assignments. Students have access to trainers outside class times via online chat, email, telephone and one-on-one appointments.

Quality teaching

JTI sets high standards for its training and assessment staff. Teachers must have formal qualifications in education and training, maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and expertise and be actively engaged in industry for the subjects they teach.
